My Story

My story is not an easy one. I am a multi-layer trauma survivor. My father was murdered when I was 10 years old. I survived an abusive ex-husband, difficult childbirth, military sexual trauma, rape, depression, and anxiety.  As it stands, suicide rates have increased across the board. The black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and LGBTIA+ are largely affected - especially through COVID challenges.  As a disabled Army veteran, I learned to manage my PTSD and suicidal ideation through yoga and meditation.  Yoga and my will to live brought me out of a dark place in my life. Yoga saved my life: I was 290 pounds and sick.  When I decided to heal, the world opened up to me again. I discovered that healing is an everyday thing: one must do the inner work. It's not easy but, with support, you can navigate the journey. I began to realize that yoga should be accessible to everyone, including my fellow veterans and their families. Yoga means Unity and with that, Love Energy Services was created to support veterans and the under-resourced holistically: my desire is that all people see and experience the light that resides in them. If my clients can rest, feel at ease and heal, then I have done my job. Once the client is able to find their voice again, then we can begin the real work. They are open to adding therapy, journaling, or just expressing themselves more. The hardest work is completed by the client and that includes a deep dive into old wounds with guided support. “The most courageous thing a person can do is decide to heal. With healing, you find clarity and compassion for ourselves and others.  We must begin with forgiving ourselves for things we had and didn't have control of and that’s where we find peace, for we are a work in progress.” ~Mojisola Edu ~

My Approach

Love Energy Services was birthed from collective pain, healing, and a recognition that its offerings were sorely needed within the community. My approach is to listen to my clients. Listening is such a powerful skill. I use my intuition in my practice. As an oracle, I am a vessel to allow people to heal. By clearing and balancing a person's energy, their throat chakra is open. Once the client is able to find their voice again, then we can begin the real work. They are open to adding therapy, journaling, or just expressing themselves more. The hardest work is done by the client and that's digging deep into old wounds and facing them, not alone but with guided support. Healing isn't easy but, it's much better with support.  Once work is implemented, I advocate for the client to continue self-care practices and provide contacts to a therapist and other resources needed.  Check out the many testimonials from my various clients.
