As a Disabled Army Veteran and MST survivor, her remarkable journey is immortalized in the book "Yoga and Resilience: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma." She has been honored with the prestigious President's Lifetime Achievement Award for her decades of outreach, underscoring her unwavering commitment to community service. She also received her honorary doctorate for Transformational leadership from the International Association of Chaplains. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in creating the women veterans license plate for D.C. and authored proclamations honoring women veterans in 2018 and 2019. Mojisola is not merely an award recipient but also a humanitarian and Goodwill Ambassador, embodying service in her Nigerian American and Yoruba heritage.
